How to find UTEL UK

Directions for getting to UTEL are explained below.

From the North

  • Follow the A14 until you get to Bury St Edmunds. Take the third exit signposted ‘A134 Sudbury’.
  • Follow the A134 until you come to a right turn signposted ‘A1141 Lavenham’; take this road and follow it through to Lavenham (sharp left turn in Lavenham at pub).
  • Follow this road until you get to the A1071, turn left towards Ipswich. 400 metres from the turning, at the top of the hill, you will see a grey modern barn on the left hand side of the road.
  • Turn left onto the track in front of the barn (signposted ‘Wolves Farm’).
  • Follow the track for 300 metres until it forks; take the left hand fork, where you will find the entrance to UTEL Laboratories.

From London

  • Take the A12 from the M25.
  • Take the B1070 to Hadleigh (this is signposted from the A12).
  • Drive straight through Hadleigh, following the road left at the end of the High Street; this will go over a small bridge and the A1071.
  • Turn right onto the A1071 towards Ipswich; go up the hill and you will see the last turning back into Hadleigh on your right.
  • In front of you, you will see a grey modern barn on the left hand side of the road.
  • Turn left onto the track in front of the barn (signposted ‘Wolves Farm’).
  • Follow the track for 300 metres until it forks; take the left hand fork, where you will find the entrance to UTEL Laboratories.

From Martlesham, Ipswich

  • Head along the A14 towards Ipswich, until you come to the Copdock (Tesco) roundabout (where the A14 meets the A12); take the third turn off the roundabout, towards Ipswich.
  • Go straight across the next roundabout; 300 metres after this roundabout, you will see the Post House Hotel on the left, before a set of traffic lights.
  • Turn left onto the A1071 at these traffic lights, following the signposts for ‘Hadleigh’.
  • Follow the road through the village of Hintlesham. Continue along the road until you pass Wolves Wood, just before Hadleigh (a fast, straight bit of road).
  • Look out for a big colourful sign ‘Hadleigh an historic town’ on the left; on the right you will see a grey modern barn.
  • Turn right onto the track next to the barn (signposted ‘Wolves Farm’).
  • Follow the track for 300 metres until it forks; take the left hand fork, where you will find the entrance to UTEL Laboratories.
