In-Line TAM

UTEL are world leaders in the supply of In-Line TAM (sometimes also referred to as Dongle TAM) solutions for DSL line testing. UTEL currently have an installed base of over 2 Million Lines of In-Line TAM in Europe.

In-Line TAM is the simplest and lowest cost solution for retrofitting TAM to existing DSLAMs. In-Line Switch Modules are simply plugged in between the existing DSLAM Splitter customer line connector and the Splitter.

UTEL can supply In-Line TAM for a wide range of current and superseded DSLAMs.

Individual Switch Matrices in excess of 50,000 lines per installation can be simply put together by daisy-chaining our switch modules.

UTEL In-Line TAM is supplied with two four wire Test Busses as standard.

It can also be supplied with additional features such as "Surf and Test". This patented feature maintains the DSL connection during copper line testing.

UTEL TAM is an industrial strength solution. Advanced self-test facilities are built in as standard and we also have proven planning and installation processes available to facilitate mass rollout programmes. Our web based Element Manager software and lap top site verification application are provided free of charge to all of our customers as these are essential tools to ensure a successful rollout.
