UTEL is a Telecoms R&D company. Our core business is the design and manufacture of DSL Test Access Switiches. Our products are manufactured by Hoisden Corporation of Japan in their European factories, providing us with the quality manufacturing muscle to deliver 1 million lines of TAM a month.
Our unique combination of innovative design, practical experience and ruthless cost reduction has made us the Number 1 Test Access Switch supplier in Europe. We currently have over 12 million lines of TAM installaed in European networks. UTEL also supplies the widest range of TAM solutions of any global supplier. Our R&D focus also enables us to rapidly innovate and optimise our solutions to meet our customers demands.
In response to customer demands, UTEL is now offering world class Copper Testheads for FTTB, FTTC and CO applications. Our Testheads have been specifically designed to meet the challenges of DSL copper networks and use advanced mathematical algorithms to detect and locate faults and to carry out advanced line pre-qualification.
UTEL can now also offer a revolutionary Robotic Automatic Distribution Frame for CO and FTTC applications. This product will re-jumper customer circuits without human intervention.
