UTEL are world leaders in the supply of modular rack mounted TAM solutions for DSL line testing. UTEL currently have an installed base of over 9 Million Lines of rack mounted TAM in Europe.
Rack mounted TAM can be a cost effective solution for new-build installations and represents a long term network infrastructure investment if it is properly planned and installed. There is no need to replace the TAM simply because the DSLAMs are being replaced by newer generation DSLAMs.
UTEL can supply rack mounted TAM in ETSI and 19’’ sizes along with low cost ETSI racks which have been specifically designed to enable optimised cable management.
UTEL rack mounted TAM is available in 96 Line, 100 Line, 192 Line, 200 Line, 256 Line and 400 line modular sizes as standard. All UTEL Test Access Switch Modules can also be supplied with DSLAM matched connectors if required. Individual Switch Matrices in excess of 50,000 lines per installation can be simply put together by daisy-chaining our switch modules.
UTEL can also supply Rack mounted TAM with additional features such as: -

UTEL TAM comes with a dual 4 wire Testbus as standard but we can also supply TAM with larger numbers of Testbusses if required.
UTEL TAM is an industrial strength solution. Advanced self-test facilities are built in as standard and we also have proven planning and installation processes available to facilitate mass rollout programmes. Our web based Element Manager software and lap top site verification application are provided free of charge to all of our customers as these are essential tools to ensure a successful rollout.
