The UTEL 100ES LLU Test Access Switch Module has been specifically developed for testing "unbundled" copper lines. The equipment is housed in a 125 mm high ETSI shelf and provides Test Access Switching for 100 copper lines. Cable connection is via industry standard 25 pair AMP Champ connectors. Male cable connectors are used for the incoming lines and female connectors are used for the outgoing lines.

The second generation version of the TASM 100ES LLU is electrically identical with the first generation version. Both the 1st and the 2nd generation version are identical in terms of interconnect and can be interchanged as required.
This product is ideal for LLU TAM applications as the Switch Matrix can be easily grown by simply daisy chaining on extra switch modules in line with LLU growth. The availability of 4 separate Testbusses facilitates the selling on of Test Access services to LLU Operators who wish to connect their own testheads.
