Once your network is live, UTEST’s easy-to-use smartphone and web access allow Customer Service teams to commission tests while talking to customers to confirm whether the problem is on the network or the customer side of the ONT, helping to resolve issues more quickly ensuring engineers visits are to fix and not to find.
UTEST works outside service transmission wavelengths, so the PON and backhaul can be tested at any time without disrupting service. In addition, the system is extremely accurate, meaning problem locations can be pinpointed down to a couple of metres. This ensures a suitably qualified engineer is sent out to fix the problem.
